MARKETING STRATEGY
Shared Imaging believes that marketing and Physician education
are two factors that are important in growing a networks MRI business.
Shared Imaging provides a four-step approach to help facilitate
the growth of MRI with our MRI clients.
The first step that Shared Imaging provides is an educational
presentation to your local Physician staff. Shared Imaging will
coordinate a date and time for a luncheon. Many facilities like
to coordinate this with their monthly mandatory Physician meetings
to assure a strong turn out. Shared Imaging will provide a lunch
for the attending Physicians and educate the Physicians on MRI.
Our slide presentation and handouts cover the following items.
- Our MRI system capabilities.
- Contraindications of MRI.
- Ordering procedure of MRI.
- When to use MRI vs. CT.
- Disease processes that are recommended for evaluation with
MRI.
- Question and Answer period.
The second step that Shared Imaging provides an open house
to both the public and the medical community. As part of that open
house a marketing board is set up on it that has images from the
MRI system. This marketing approach is a great way to inform the
public of the different type of scans that are available with the
utilization of the MRI system.
A technologist is available to describe the scans and answer questions.
We encourage the medical staff to visit our display as this allows
us to reach most of the Physicians in a very short time frame.
Our third step in a monthly Magnetic Resonance Update that
is handed out to your local Physicians. This is a continuing
education article for Medical Professionals and is a monthly
program. This educational article covers a different disease process
each month that MRI is recommended for diagnosis. This monthly continuing
educational article is handed out to the Physicians office, or if
we have time constraints, will be put into their mailboxes at the
local facility.
The fourth step that Shared Imaging provides for our MRI
clients is a door to door approach. We visit each Physician's office
and speak with the office staff, the Physicians nurse, and the Physician
if they are available to visit with us. An ARRT technologist, who
is versed in MRI, accomplishes these visits. With these visits,
we help educated the office staff on questions that they may have
in respect to MRI. We also pick up information on any difficulties
that they may perceive to be having with scheduling, patient handling,
reports, and etc. If the Physician has any questions on MRI, then
our technologist can answer them during their visit.
Shared Imaging provides this four-step marketing approach
with no additional fee requirements from the client. We will make
the commitment to your facility that these techniques will be accomplished
at the intervals that are listed above. If no time interval is listed,
then the approach will be accomplished at least once per quarter.
